Long time no see

Well Hello blogger land.

It has been quite a while since my last post, and quite a lot has happened. Bad news first, my beautiful fur baby Ursee is no longer with us. After 3 weeks of hell, (she was seizing non-stop, became blind/deaf and inconent). We decided to sent her to a better place on Thanksgiving. This was single-handedly the hardest thing I have ever had to do, I thank sweet pug jesus that my wonderful boyfriend and his mother were there to help me. She has a little plot in the backyard, where we can still say hello to her.

Good news, Being a dog lover to the point of loving them more than humans; I got a new dog, puppy, a month after Ursee passed. Kyle and I have never had a puppy, so sweet lord, we were in for a treat. Her name is Wednesday, she is also a black pug, and a lover. This baby is the sweetest thing, she will kiss you until you MAKE her stop, she talks all the time, and actually listens! Ursee was so stubborn, my god, and she would talk back, like no bodys business.
This little baby will sit for every treat and sit before her meal until you say "ok." She has a bad habit of eating everything and anything! Shoes, keys, sunglasses, lettuce, feathers.. You name it! She especially loves to munch on fiberglass, we have our water heater in my craft room and she will run in there and try to eat the fiberglass, yet being the mum I am I run in there and take it out of her little mouth.
The one thing I do miss is our dog sleeping with us, Ursee was the best sleeper, if there was an event for sleeping she would have won. Wennie cannot sleep in the bed yet, because she feels the need to dig in the blankets and then piddle. That is not a good thing when you are trying to sleep or relax and she usually pees on Kyles side of the bed. Haha!
Until next time! I will be sharing some recipes here soon!

Hello October!

Hello,
It has been awhile, my little life has been somewhat crazy. I started my new job (yay!), searching endlessly for a new house, crafting, eating, etc. I am proud to say, that all of our searching has landed us a beautiful victorian 2bd in the GOOD part of downtown Rosa. I can't wait to have some tea and sit on my scaloped edged patio, and act like i'm in the south. We have a clawfoot tub (weee!) beautiful molding and arched entryways, thats all I need in my life. The hard thing is breaking the news to our current roomie. I don't mean to be blunt/rude etc. But! I am so over roommates, They are usually strangers, and suuuper messy. At least we didn't have a serial killer as a roomie, but I think I rather deal with that than caked up dishes and beer bottles EVERYWHERE! Seriously, when we are living with a partner, we usually know their bad habits and we try to make up for that, and vise versa, but roommates are ruthless. I am trying to have an open mind about the whole roomie thing, but it's hard. I went from living by myself, to living with a friend, who is now not my friend... and to living with a stranger.. who kinda likes me? I think I'm just the problem, I know I am hard to deal with, thats why all my close friends/family have a great sense of humor and a lot of patience.

Ursela had her little beauty day yesterday, I thought the reltor might need to meet her, and I didn't want them meeting a manegy pug, so she got groomed. Clean and Happy pet grooming off SR Ave. Super nice and great with my pain in the ass dog. they kept her for three hours, in order to ease her into the bathing process and not shock her, which is fine by me, she talks back and I can only handle so much of that. When I picked her up she was happy and smiling and smelt so good, and she had a pretty little bow on. I highly recommend them, they fit me in at last minutes notice and were super nice. They also do doggy daycare, which is great.

I'll be back soon, I have to tell you about my new shows I'm addicted to! Off to tell the roomie that we are moving! weee!

Nothing like Rain...

Morning!

There is nothing like sleeping while it is raining, for some reason it knocks me out and I have the best sleep ever. Pretty much, rain is my drug. I love rain is every aspect, except the way it ruins my hair. I started off today by giving my roomie Aaron a ride to work, and then followed that up with two 12oz cups of iced coffee and some Etsy, and of course walking my fur baby Ursela. This is a picture of Ursela, when she got into mummy's crafting feathers. She just licked them to death and left them in her jowels to show everyone.

Besides how awesome my dog is, I started playing a few x-box games, and man they are addicting. I am not really the video game type, but Kyle (my man) bought himself a x-box, two days ago, I think he felt bad, soo I got two games. Viva Pinata and Beautiful Katamari . I think that both of these games were made while someone was trippin out, because the concept of these games are off the wall and the colors are sooo vivid!
Viva Pinata: First of all, the name is fun to say, and I get a excuse to say it in a accent, which I do not have. You start off in this Pinata world, as a novice gardener, you start paving your garden, and Pinatas show up. The whole goal of the game it to get the Pinatas to "romance" with the same kind of Pinata. The sick part of this game is that in order for most Pinatas to "romance" they have to eat another Pinata, in which the Pinata being eaten bursts into candy and everyone eats them..haha. I included the website so you can see the Pinatas and learn more about it.
Beautiful Katamari: The fun thing about this game is, which I was told by the friendly staff at Funcoland; is that this game is VERY hard to get ahold of, it is made in Japan, and rarely available in USA. weeee! And I got it! You start out as a prince and you get this little ball called a Katamari, you have to roll the ball and collect as many things as you can in a certain amount of time. The king gives you a goal of how big the Katamari should be, usually 20cm-50cm in the beginging games. It sounds easy but it is challenging, on top of that they have this awesome Japanese music in the background, and I tend to get distracted. I am including the website, so you can see the graphics and more.

A little (too much) about me...

Hello There, and welcome to my blog. Now I know I started this "fad" about 5 yrs late, but if it counts, I have always had a livejournal account! I don't have a lot of "important facts" or just plain "important" stuff to say, so I will just say it... how I want, that is. Because that is what a blog is about, right? My way all day.

Okay, now that I said my piece here is a little about me; My name is Teri, I am almost 24 (October 17), I will be starting a new job on Tuesday, at a Day spa. I have been in the beauty biz since I was 18, At some points I got out of it, to work with puppies, or in retail, but it has always been a part of my life in some sort of way. I have a wonderful boyfriend, Kyle; That I have been with for 7 yrs now. He is the most giving, supportive, loving and sarcastic person I have met, it fits my personality perfectly. I have one fur baby, Ursela; she is a little black pug that I rescued two yrs ago, she will be 10 on Halloween. And yes, before you ask, she is having a birthday party. I believe that you should have mini celebrations for everything, life should be a party, it usually isn't, thats why you NEED to celebrate often and with great company. I have quite often been told I get dressed up quite a bit, but that goes in the same basket with celebrating. Now, this might be a little morbid, but thats a fun quirk about me; if for some reason something were to happen to me and I end up in ER or dead, at least I look good, and my personal best.

So, I think this covers enough of stuff about me.. I will post later to tell you about my daily life, and I think I am going to post recipes, hair tips etc. Have a great day, and if your in California, watch out for the thunder and lightening!

P.s. My family nickname is Lulu, I hate my name, so I am using my nickname. I feel like my name is extremely man-ish, and I prefer something more girly. So thats that.
